The people are intelligent and dedicated professionals.

Cons

Leadership is not necessarily made up of leaders. Partners need to do a better job of career counseling.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practice what you preach about people and do not just pay lip service to the organization's values. Have the courage to do the right thing especially when it involves your peers.

    Pros

    The team inclusiveness and the mentoring at EY greatly helped my advancement. The counselors given also helped a lot with doing well.

    Cons

    There were not many cons that I have experienced at EY except for the long hours, which we all sign up for, and the travel.

    Large company were quality varies across groups, and people development is rigid and bureaucratic.

    Don't take a one-size-fits-all approach to people development. Aggressive, flexible programs to develop talent in a wide range of areas could be beneficial.
