I have been working at EY full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1) excellent on cv, 2) great client exposure

    Cons

    1) if you have disabilities, beware of covert and overt discriminations. Management and staff often make your disabilities worse or use it against you 2) hr is completely rude and inhuman 3) there's a lot of politics and if you're not in the in group, you'll get screwed 4) ey can stop people from taking their exams if they don't like you. This is even if you pass all your previous exams 5) a lot of long hours, yet it's only appreciated if you're in the "in group" 6) there is covert racism 7) promotion is based on being in the "in group", not capabilities 8) there's a lot of backstabbing which can make life hell and remind of school

I have been working at EY full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The office is really nice and located in a good spot

    Cons

Poor internal structures and processes from responding to RFPs, giving feedback and managing promotions. Pipeline of work is not managed much more than a month out. Very political, with promotions based on who people's friends are rather than merit, ability or experience. Because of this, there are a lot of confident but incompetent Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at how best in class consulting companies work and invest in structure and process improvements. Put more focus on quality both for client work and recruitment.
