I worked at EY full-time (less than a year)

Pros

The only good thing about getting into this company, is that you team up with people that jus graduated from university

Cons

The assigned tasks are very mechanical and the work in general is static, you do not have the chance of showing your talent since there is not much expected from your work

I worked at EY full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I started with a nice intake who were a lot of fun. The company is a good name to have on your CV. You will be given time off for your chartered accountant exams which they pay for (just enough).

    Cons

The management are incompetent. They treat people below them like garbage and hang of the partners like a bad smell. The pay is terrible. You can expect to work an average of 60 hours a week for about 5 months of the year. The work itself will not challenge you unless you are an idiot. You will probably get put in a dark, cramped room while out on audit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop rubber stamping audits,

I have been working at EY full-time

    Pros

Nice people, relaxed pace, work life balance

    Cons

Work is quite dull, clients are quite cheap

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop focusing on revenue, focus on margin instead
