Pros

A lot of great benefits and the pay is good. Or at least the pay is good until you realize how many hours you're working. You have great skills transferability. Work here for one year, take advantage of the benefits, and leave.

Cons

You end up working long hours. Especially if you travel, you will only get one day off a week. They tell you that you'll only work Monday through Thursday, but to keep up appearances to the client, you end up staying until at least 5pm on Friday. This place is a pyramid scheme and the partners are out of touch.

Advice to Management

Quit using smoke and mirrors about how great it is here and actually talk to your staff.

    Pros

Work with top talent and marquis clients in a Big Four environment. With the right partner support, ability to drive key enterprise-wide initiatives. Ability to engage with various firm practices and leadership - being proactive and "being seen" help your career. Good benefits.

    Cons

Long hours. Travel can be 5-6 days a week (if leaving Sunday night). Feedback can be challenging. "Boys Club" still exists - hard to break in. Not a lot of turnover in some key positions, which makes upward mobility more difficult. Layoffs can occur without notice.

    Advice to Management

Focus on employee engagement, and make sure you help open doors for those with the talent to walk through them and drive future growth for the firm.
