    Pros

    good business growth prospect
    strong culture of inclusion
    competitive starting salaries and benefits
    mostly helpful colleagues
    great opportunities at client engagements
your manager may give you a lot of responsibility and freedom to be creative in how you deliver work products

    Cons

terrible IT and tech system infrastructure, but it is slowly being upgraded
    under-reporting hours is unofficially expected
stated cultural values are not always evident in practice
    poor work-life balance
utilization achievement is out of the control of managers and below in rank but people are measured by this in performance reviews
complex and onerous expense reimbursement policies

    Advice to Management

provide consultants an environment where they can come to management to ask difficult questions and not fear retaliation in performance reviews
make sure that things stated in orientation will ring true to people once they are hired
be more realistic in terms of how much extra work (off hours and weekends) you expect out of your people in addition to doing project work

    Pros

Obtaining a CPA license is a lot like an apprenticeship model, so being an "apprentice" at a Big-4 firm like EY is a great thing to have on your resume and good exposure for the early stages of your career.

    Cons

The firm bills clients based on hours worked by it's employees, so it wants to show that a lot of work has been accomplished in a day. Often, the expectations of how much work should be completed in a 10 hour day can be unreasonable, leading to unnecessary stress and a lower quality product.

    Advice to Management

In many cases, management needs to be more realistic about the amount of time needed to complete projects, and plan accordingly for those realistic expectations.
