I worked at EY full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It serves as a great resume-builder since lots of companies buy into the whole Big Four experience. It helped me land my next job.

    Cons

The self-review portion of the Performance Review process is pretty much just to make you feel better about yourself. Also, no work-life balance.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

Current Employee - Manager in New York, NY

I have been working at EY full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Many different types of individuals with varying levels of outside experience. Provides an ideal environment to obtain different experiences and opportunities.

    Cons

Advisory practice can be viewed as a backstabbing environment which is driven by growth opportunities within the market. Leadership, more so those hoping to obtain leadership positions, are more focused on selling work rather than delivering quality; this tone seems to be set at the top by leadership of certain groups. On another note the advisory practice is a penny pinching environment; most of the employees are upset with pay.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
