Current Employee - Project Lead  in  Eden Prairie, MN
Current Employee - Project Lead in Eden Prairie, MN

Pros

- You can either be on-site with the client or work remotely depends on client(s) and projects.
- Working on and learning so many different technologies from project to project.
- I've been doing Siebel CRM for more than 14+ years and I’m still learning new things & being challenged at EC and its projects.
- The other consultants I have the pleasure of working with so far have been spot-on and technically sounded.
- Everyone is willing to help you at any given time; all you have to do is ask.
- Given the current economy, the pays and benefits is better than expected.

Cons

- Not being on-site (non-traveling consultant) with the client can be challenging.
- If you’re a face-to-face type of person, it will be hard to get used to working with client(s) remotely.
- Your team might not be located with you; your team may be spread out all over the US.
- You’ll never know when you might be moving on to the next project if you’re needed somewhere else immediately.
- If you don’t like the extremely cold weather, S. Dakota, N. Dakota, and Minnesota might not be a place for you.
 - You don’t really have much of a visibility of what are other projects EC has so you can offer your services to that project.
- Working remotely from home all the time can make you feel like you’re not part of a company.
- Not enough company and team’s outings.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Pierre, SD

    Pros

In a hot market despite what's going on in the rest of the economy. Opportunity to learn and advance skills with technologies that are used by many big companies - can pick up great knowledge and expereince that will advance the career.

    Cons

Some of the projects are high priority - have to work hard somethimes to meet customer deliverables and project deadlines (what's new?). Could do with more management communication & recognition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More regular commincation - keep us in the loop. Maybe some more recognition after a tough project or some tough deadlines are met.
