Deceitful and full of high school drama

Bakery Manager (Former Employee) Birmingham, AL

Prosemployee discount and great food

ConsUpper management shows no appreciation for hard working team members that go above and beyond expecations. As someone who was new to the company as a dept. manager I felt like an outcast from day one and thrown to the wolves after opening day. Upper management did not seem to show any compassion for a hardworking mother of a toddler. Expected to be robotic and dedicate all your waking moments working. Wasn't even given a chance to implement the plans and ideas created for the dept. Store management rather of believed rumors and lies than find out the truth. Be prepared to be sabotaged.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your team members and have a little more compassion for those who are new and work their butts off. Don't make them feel inferior because they have a family to take care of as well. Communicate better instead of coming to conclusions based on false information. Employ more than one female dept.manager. Give new dept. managers more than a 4 day chance to grasp the "Earth Fare Way"

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
