I have been working at Easter Seals full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Individual contributions can make a huge impact. Rewarding roles.

Cons

Lack of benefits and lower than average pay.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward good staff. Current practices force quality employees to move on after a short time. Company and programs suffer.

I have been working at Easter Seals full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There are still some quality clinical staff members working with the families however they continue to leave to companies that support them. The starting pay is decent (don't expect a raise)

    Cons

Where do I start. The training program is weak, especially for the behavioral interventionist, whom do the direct work. The corporate staff does not demonstrate leadership and do not follow through with promises. Times were better in the past and went quickly downhill when we lost our well-liked, supportive, AD from the Burlingame office that also covered the San Jose office. There are no opportunities for learning to further develop techniques better suited for children with ASD and there are no opportunities for an increase in pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look around and up the ladder. Changes are needed for growth in a positive direction.
