Easter Seals taught me that while skills are important, empathy for clients was just as important.

    I worked at Easter Seals

    Pros

As a company they do have some great programs that are helpful but when they are providing the services themselves they only care about money.

    Cons

They only cared about how many kids were in the summer program not the kids and their needs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you say you are here to provide the best service for children with disabilities then you need to do it. This is a summer camp for kids with disabilities not a for profit daycare center. Look at the kids. They are people too.

    Pros

Good vacation benefits. Working with dedicated teachers.

    Cons

Nepotism rules, as inflation goes up pay goes down. Upper management consistently creates unnecessary positions which are filled on the " friendship" qualification. Upper management are cold, unresponsive to employees needs and have overall unprofessional code of ethics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When all your employees are looking for other jobs you should really try and find out why. Try making a legitimate salary and pay scale. If you expect CPS standards. ...start with CPS pay and equality.
