    Pros

Lots of holidays off, including paid week-long Christmas vacation

    Cons

-Lots of life-longers holding the more desireable positions. -Hard to move to other departments without years of seniority -Most of the positions that become available are the ones that no one else wants/no one leaves the good positions unless they retire out. So, there is a lot of competition for the good jobs which means that if you are hired off the street (or with only a year or two in), it because the current employees know better than to take that position. -Very difficult to move vertically -Some of the managers and directors are known for treating empoyees unfairly and HR does nothing about it.

    Advice to Management

    Be more considerate of employees.
