I have been working at Eastern Nazarene College part-time (more than an year)

Pros

when there is work, you will get plenty of hours. It is in a college setting so it is understandable have an lack of hours from time to time.

Cons

the moment they see a chance to cut hours they will. Under a strict budget and lots of students get hired.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pick and choose the hardest working, hungry students. Some students actually have bills to pay and would love to work hard for their money while lots of students are hired simply because they are students and not because they work hard or are skilled. To many students are hired and not enough hours to go around. The students who truly need it get screwed out of work.

I have been working at Eastern Nazarene College full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They have an incredibly positive and supportive faculty. I cannot stress enough how kind and encouraging is every one you meet there.

    Cons

They have limited resources and little else suggests they have a plan to improve it for faculty.

I worked at Eastern Nazarene College part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Eastern Nazarene College provides a great work environment. The people genuinely care for your well being and personal lives. They want to help you in any way then can. As part of a larger network of colleges and established businesses on Boston's south shore, the networking potential is massive.

    Cons

In this college environment there are people who are passionate about serving students, which is fantastic. It also means they will put in 45, 50, 55+ hours a week. If you want to guard your time, you have to be very careful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be kind to employees by helping them maintain a 40 hour work week.
