Pros

Cutting edge technology, ability to collaborate, excellent employees, good work/life balance.

Cons

Top leadership not innovative enough and unable to see what it means to compete in the industries in which they say they are competitors.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to those in your company who have not worked for the same employer their whole lives. Embrace the now. Innovate, don't expect that the work will just keep coming to us.

    Pros

Open atmosphere to innovate. Lots of challenges. Flexibility exists once you prove yourself. If you have a thirst for knowledge and can bring ideas you will be heard. Great open door policy. HR is dong its best to remove the old DISH culture. Things are significantly better with a top company growth attitude.

    Cons

Not for the faint of heart. Need to be adaptable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

On the Job Training. Free Dish Network, Exposure to Video compression and uplink technoligy. 4x10 hr work weeks

    Cons

Below industry wages. Slow advancement, Below average medical plans. No support from Sr. Management for employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advise to management is to hire good employees and work to retain them by providing competitive wages, benefits, and advancement possibilities. If you treat your employees well they will respond w/ dedication to your service and customers. The feeling amongst employees is that management cares more about the equipment then them.
