I have been working at Ecolab full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Most of my teammates would do anything to help each other. This is probably because people tend to bond when under siege.

    Cons

Inept management. Benefits and compensation stagnation or shrinkage. Untrustworthy. Their is always an alternative motive to everything they do. They do not believe in leveling with their people. Field personnel are treated like criminals or as if they are the enemy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote managers based on their ability to develop people. Drop the practice of management through fear and intimidation.
