Current Employee – been working at Ecolab full-time for more than 8 years

Pros – Industry leaders, smart people, many international locations, great travel, Good upward mobility. The company is on the cutting edge of technology with very not much competition. Nalco merger was the best thing they did in the last 15 years.

Cons – Very top heavy, many VPs and Directors, average compensation and benefits, political environment, little autonomy, HQd in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Advice to Senior Management – Need to practice what you preach. Flatten the organization, provide more autonomy and improve benefits
