    Pros

The local account teams are top notch. Access to the larger Edelman team and working with colleagues from other offices lets us grow professionally and serve our clients well, despite local management issues.

    Cons

In less than a year, this office went from one of the best places I've ever worked, to the absolute worst. Local management is a joke, making decisions based on personal vendettas more than business strategy and destroying culture and employee motivation. Half of us have one foot out the door.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give back to your employees and learn from your mistakes. Consider a new career.

I worked at Edelman full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Access to global brands
Great company recognition on your resume for future opportunities
Great way to jump into the deep and and learn at a large PR powerhouse

    Cons

Ego runs the show here way too much
Always company-line excuses for job advancement/raises
Constant exposure to corporate puffing of chests
If you're the best at something, you don't have to talk about it non-stop
Favoritism is rampant (coming from somebody who benefited from it)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Run the place less like a sweatshop. Provide financial incentives to junior staff.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
