I have been working at Edelman full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Edelman's extensive client list provides employees with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in digital/consumer/health/travel.

    Cons

Edelman is by far the worst corporate culture I have ever experienced in my 10+ years on the job market.

Account teams are ridiculously unorganized and upper management is populated with opportunistic and disingenuous individuals that play favorites and are all too eager to throw junior staff under the bus at a moment's notice.

Rude emails, name calling, unjustified accusations of inefficiency, screaming obscenities on company conference calls: all part of the day-to-day life at Edelman.

And if you think the Human Resources department will be there to help you when you inevitably bear the brunt of this abuse, think again! Edelman's HR department is by far the worst I have ever encountered.

There are plenty of PR companies out there. Learn from my mistake and think twice before signing on the dotted line with these folks.
