A Disillusionment. Top Heavy Company with little regard for employees, esp those of the "wrong" gender and ethnicity

There are those within the company that try very hard to establish a good culture. Benefits were starting to improve in some areas. Pockets of strong workgroups, usually led by a great manager (who unfortunately was not valued by executive team) in other words, it could get better, but there are doubts

No room for advancement, due to company constantly bringing in new directors, senior directors, VPs, associate VPs, etc. - almost always those who resemble the rest of the leadership team (although gender is getting a little better) Little to no work-life balance. Unrealistic expectations of what can be done with the available resources. Constant questioning and lack of trust from senior leaders, especially finance. Dysfunctional from the standpoint of great people being brought in but then not allowed to use their expertise to drive results. A ceo who is great a recruiting top talent, but then doesn't let them do their jobs. HR is overwhelmed so they aren't able to follow through on promises for career paths, etc. No transparency in decisionmaking, especially for comensation.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let your managers to their jobs. CEO quit micro managing.Streamline processes and increase the level of trust between departments. Recognize there needs to be investments in departments other than engineering. Quit bringing in outside people and establish career paths for those who are here.
