    Pros

Good place to work, avg salary and benefits.

    Cons

The Rosedale location is better if u want are educated, ambitious, driven and want to continually move ahead in your career. You can get away with meeting just the status quo at the Ewing location.

I have been working at Educational Testing Service

    Pros

Great work/life balance mindset. Non-salary benefits are probably better than most. The pay is respectable for the locale and the industry in general seems to be doing well despite the economy.

    Cons

Ineptitude is often overlooked and favoritism by management abounds. Senior management touts platitutes and ideals, but front-line managers rarely follow through. While pay is good for this location, positions are tied to pay bands/ranges. Unfortunately, some mid-level managers thought it a clever cost-saving practice to categorize "down" some roles into positions with lower pay bands. As a result, some workers who are performing the same tasks as their east coast counterparts may be paid significantly less at this location.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a better job of recognizing and developing talent, instead of promoting the "survivors." Requiring that entry- and mid-level management candidates have a legitimate sense of business acumen would do wonders for the company.
