I have been working at Eduventures full-time for less than a year

Pros

The research and consulting talent is simply top-shelf. Across the firm - analysts and associates at all levels show a deep dedication to ensuring their academic and administrative clients make better leadership, development, enrollment, online and operational strategy decisions everyday.

New CEO leadership and senior staff has brought new energy, business-focus, product rejuvenation and welcomed change the growing advisory firm.

The company has a small start-up feel to it. Young and tenured talent mix well when pursuing new clients, digging deep on datasets, separating fact from fiction and giving its clients the best it has.

The vibe, the talent, the clients, and the work Eduventures does is the best I've seen. Truly enjoy coming into work everyday and very happy I joined in 2012. Poised for greater things in 2013.

Cons

The firm is small, fast moving like any other start-up. You can get pulled in many different directions. At times - it's all hands on deck. It's exciting too b/c the reward(s) and satisfaction can be quite nice when new clients and projects are won. Formal training still needs work. On-the-job training is necessary.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to keep breaking from the past and focusing on the future. Ensure young and tenured talent continue to have new opportunities to grow the business and their professional skill sets.

I have been working at Eduventures full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working with a team of smart people all focused on making higher ed institutions more productive. Enough variety across the programs to make sure you stay interested. Plenty of opportunities to learn about the other active projects.

    Cons

Satisfying higher ed clients is not easy. With transitions and changing priorities, it can be frustrating having to make assumptions as you interpret the data.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retaining a research team is difficult - take good care of them!
