Pros

You have the opportunity to work as a team and not just an employee.
Multple ways to involve yourself in the company and the region.
Mini meetings and regional meetings help ensure your growth as a team as well as a BOA.
Benefits are good for the most part.

Cons

While the benefits are good, something should be done about the high deductible in our healthcare.
Or at least give us the ability to increase the balance of our HSA when we increase the amount going into the HSA monthly.

Advice to Management

In training the financial advisors, I think you should make them more aware of what a BOAs job is. The training needs to stress that much of what a BOA does has to be at the direction of the financial advisor. Some of the new financial advisors assume that BOAs have the authority to do more than they can & that can cause problems, such as friction between FA & BOA which is not conducive to a good team.

The firm really does care about their clients

    Pros

    Finally, the nightmare is over...

    Cons

Training material not effective for me. Expect 65 hr work weeks...no time off for family, or even to go to church!

    Advice to Management

3 weeks to get through a 3 inch binder of fresh material is just not long enough. Provide some flexibility and work with those folks that left their good paying jobs in order to help them pass the Series 7. I put in the time, stayed on calendar and still got cut since test scores weren't strong enough!! What an expensive lesson! Buyers beware...
