    Great operational support which is paid for by the financial advisor.

    Cons

    Lack of cooperation from Home office, no flexibility.

    I have been working at Edward Jones full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Name recognition and on-site cafeteria.

    Cons

    Training on the job specific material was rushed and too much material covered in too little time. Facilitator, while very knowledgeable about the subject matter, was a poor "teacher."

    Conditions of employment NOT communicated until AFTER I began working. Examples:
    1. Employees must have their financial portfolios with EJ.
    2. Call Center environment...stuck at desk for 8 hours w/headset.
    3. Team lead who hired me NOT doing my evaluations...another Sr. Team member is.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need full transparency during interview/hiring process.
    Less drink the kool-aid training...more emphasis on job specific training.
