I worked at Efinancial

Pros

Leads are provided, Good money for not a lot of work, or skill needed. If you are a decent sales person can expect to make more then 60 k.

Cons

Super corporate, major micro managing so bad they ask when your going if you have to go to the bathroom and then time it. Most management are prior salesmen and have no idea how to manage people.

    Pros

Daily cash spiffs, semi casual dress code, relaxed sales environment.

    Cons

Told to convert bad/broke leads. Penalized if not converted on, then put on 'probation' and given more 'bad leads' with a higher quota.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at the leads not the metrics. Can't sell Jane Doe who is disabled without a credit card or bank account a $75/month policy.

I worked at Efinancial full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The people who works there make it a desirable to work. Everyone is helpful including the managers. The leads are free to call but you have convert on a regular basis. Otherwise, you will be on the bad list.

    Cons

The management structure is constently changing as the company grows. They value vetern employees unless you are top producer. Anyone is disposable because they are constantly hiring new agents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be transparent with management so we know what the hell is going on with the constant changes. Keep in mind managers!!!!! You are disposable too. No job security for you either.
