I worked at Electronic Arts full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

All the resources you could ever want, especially if you are on a big franchise. Lots of smart, creative people to work with. Good pay compared to the rest of the industry. Lots of mobility both in terms of projects and locations

    Cons

Creativity is generally limited to the bounds of existing franchises. No executive plan lasts longer than a few months and mid-level executives are often disconnected from the senior management.
