    Favoritism runs rampant

    Pros

If you're lucky enough to be in a main/large office (L.A., Montreal), there's some good perks. 401k, and health benefits were nice. Receive yearly allowance to purchase EA titles (or use on Origin), even new releases.

    Cons

Working at a smaller office, we were largely ignored for benefits. Project decision makers were all over the place and would often wait until a project was almost finished before requesting a change to something that had been in it from day 1, followed by the same decision makers wondering why the project is being pushed back another week+. Favoritism allowed our regional qa manager to promote his favorites to higher paying positions while some that worked harder (i.e. worked on improving qa ability instead of playing games or looking through plenty of fish) continued to be at the nominal pay and responsibilities.

Getting monitors 2 months after our company being bought, with labels from a previously bought and closed studio isn't a good sign.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try and look at who's trying to improve the company versus those with a brown nose and allergies to work.
