Current Employee - Associate Brand Manager in Indianapolis, IN

I have been working at Eli Lilly full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Excellent history of global marketing successes delivering blockbuster drugs. Strong focus on marketing development capabilities. Hiring bright young talent.

    Cons

Turnover at the top of the marketing organization and the emergence of a new cadre of marketing leaders has created a deficit of marketing experience at the top. Short term pipeline is weak especially in the face of key product patent expirations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the hard decisions about the size and capabilities of the organization that you can afford to sustain over the next few years and then be frank with employess.
