Pros

Some of the PAs & Staff Docs are nice & might even write you a letter of evaluation someday

Cons

Most likely you won't get to work enough with one Doc for the letter you are seeking. 9+ hour shifts with no breaks & no food allowed on the job, hard to even find time to use the bathroom or get a drink of water. Pay is very low compared to other companies & everything is done via email so you don't even have a face to be frustrated at when they ask you to complete something or respond within a 2 hour window. Additionally, they make you sign a non-compete contract that prevents you from working else where. Other legal issues are raised on other review sites as well.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to get an established office on the site of larger locations to trouble shoot any employee problems. House keeping is not one of your specialities at the moment.

    Pros

A great culture, lots of opportunity for good people to really progress. Working for Elite will open doors for the future. Getting the experience offered, while continuing education is really so valuable.

    Cons

With a company growing so much some communication is a little lost - overall though, there aren't 'Cons' to speak of. The training is really involved - not for anyone wishing to cut-corners. You really have to be dedicated to personal and professional growth to succeed here.

I worked at Elite Medical Scribes part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

great doctors, lots to learn from doctors.

    Cons

Highly disorganized. Chief scribes are the puppets of the company while the scribes are the slaves. Management is a joke at best. There are no benefits, you will not be reimbursed for half your gas for training. This company is by far one of the worst to work for. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

respect the scribes, without them, you don't have jobs bringing home close to 100k a year, while the scribe makes less than 10k a year. This company needs to disappear.
