Former Employee - Senior Management/Director in Pleasanton, CA

Pros

Very relaxed, most people have been there since the beginning. No one really enforces any policies - you can stay under radar and do very little. Good ice cream.

Cons

Management is terrible - don't comprehend software development. Very old school technology - have no interest in adopting new solutions. The management teams are divided with fresh blood trying to make a name and old timers who were promoted (most directors / vps would not be hired as a manager in other companies) trying to hold on to their jobs. There is nothing interesting going on - your career will be on hold when you join.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to be cleared out - and CEO (to old) and CTO (can't speak english) need to resign. You need fresh blood to really get things going.

Former Employee - Product Management in Pleasanton, CA

    Pros

Staff is very professional and helpful to each others needs. You can wear many hats and gain a lot of experience.

    Cons

Sometimes a bit political and if you don't fit in, then management will give you the cold shoulder. Just work hard and do what you do best.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a little more open in giving feedback to employees if they are not performing to a level that is acceptable.
