    Pros

    The people were great to work with and most of the time were a very tight knit group in the Ft Worth and Asheville offices.

    Cons

    Note this applies to the Pharmacy Division in Ft Worth which was previously eRx Network before an acquisition.

    There is really no organization on projects due and project directions change direction on a dime so nothing is really ever done right the first time. Once they are done they usually are thrown together because nobody understands the requirements.

    There is a blame everybody else mentality and it is only promoted by management so that the blame eventually falls on the different departments in IT while management just looks the other way.

    The product business unit is practically invincible at the organization and has zero accountability for their actions. They can sit on things for 6 months then pass it onto the development and QA teams days or hours before a hard or legal deadline then those teams work over weekends to get it done. Then the offending party is given all credit for it getting done and nothing done about the tardiness. Management often promotes this behavior and when complaints of it are raised they just ignore it.

    Advice to Management

    Start holding people accountable for their actions and perform fixes when things don't work. Not doing your job and passing it onto others is rewarded way too often and is just a basic part of the culture.

    Fix the disconnect between IT and the business units, there is almost zero communication between the two. The upper management between them never accomplishes anything on process so it is all willy nilly.

    Start hiring competent managers that look out for their employees instead of ones that are only looking up the ladder for their own careers.

    COMMUNICATE with employees on what is going on with the bigger picture for different business units. There is a huge lack of communication and employees are often thrown into the fire over things that are happening at the management level they have no idea about then are told about days or hours before a deadline.
