Emerson Electric – “Great for starters and getting experience. Unless you like office politics, I wouldn't recommend staying long.

Emerson Electric Anonymous in Manila, City of Manila (Philippines):   (Past Employee - 2007)

Pros

Emerson has good starting salary for entry level professionals ( fresh graduates and the likes). It is a good company to gain good experience in different areas of the industry. It is an equal opportunity employer and has a good customer loyalty base.

Cons

They want more work for less pay. They do not negotiate if you intend to leave, but when you do, they will give what you were asking for to the person they hire to replace you. Has a high attrition rate in some locations. You can get promoted even if you suck as long as you have good people under you whom you can take credit from.

Advice to Senior Management

Give employees what they are due. especially those in lower level who are the main work force.
