Great company with seemingly great opportunities. Pay is good at HQ, but not most of the branches.

Cons

Very conservative and cheap. Most of management has been here 30 years and are inflexible. Little value and importance is placed on families and life outside of work. The expectation is you are married to Emerson. Corporate environment is huge turn off to ambitious, young professionals.

Advice to Senior Management

Be flexible and willing to make difficult choices. This includes firing someone who has been here 30 years and simply placed it in cruise control until retirement. These people are killing morale and driving away your future VPs.
