Emerson Electric – “New to the family”

Pros

Strong stable company. Brilliant upper management in the Fisher division, that is very respectful to everyone, and has the time to just chat a moment when you see them. I have no consideration to find employment elsewhere because i believe what they believe.
Great core values.

Cons

What I have seen that worries me a bit, is HQ pushing for the bottom line to come up more with movement of domestic manufacturing to overseas, and is understandable to some degree; but; at what price will we pay in the end for the quality of the Emerson products sinking to make another dollar..

Advice to Senior Management

Stop putting your divisions under one process umbrella. This actually hurts the bottom line. Let us do what we do best within Emerson values. No more no less. Give us the tools we need, and I gaurantee we can have domestic manufacturing and quality that cannot be matched in the world with steady profits intead of the quick fix. I'm in for the long haul, and I hope you are too.
