    I have been working at Emerson full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Identifies talent and gives proper training and support. Good work / life balance. Industry leader with strong technology capabilities. Large, global company with plenty of opportunities to move into different assignments.

    Cons

    Not very progressive with policies / procedures. Somewhat of a stodgy culture. Hard to enact change with legacy of long-time employees.
