Pros

health care is great as graduate programs go the work life balance is ok most advisers are supportive if you don't want to become a PI Atlanta is a great city to be in and the campus is nice

Cons

no vision, no dental department (chemistry) expectations change all the time and vary between divisions no recruiters from industry have visited Emory in the past 5 years no help finding a job after graduation

    Pros

    Access to a lot of data. Supervision by an experienced researcher. Satisfactory pay scale. Great co-workers.

    Cons

    High expectations in terms of deliverables not commensurate with authority or level of preparation. Research supervisor often busy with numerous projects.

    Advice to Management

    Please provide opportunities to greater numbers.

    There was not support program for postdocs.
