Pros

Hard work can get you promoted across the United States.
Flexible, fair management team who care for their customers.
A+ rated company by the Better Business Bureau.

Cons

Sometimes we get knocked for expecting salespeople to be professional.
Your expectations will be inspected and you will be held accountable for your performance.
So these are not bad things, but indifferent unprofessional salespeople will view them as cons.

Advice to Management

As always, I believe you need to care and react to how your employees and contracts feel, and how decisions you make will affect those folks who are bringing in the revenue for the company.

    Pros

    Good salary, good benefits. Co-Workers can be good depending on your location, and hours are flexible for management at the local sites

    Cons

    Management plays favorites, you are the flavor of the month when first hired, but will quickly become the whipping boy when the next person is hired. If they don't like you, they will do anything to get you to quit or fire you. Management doesn't listen to front line employees or managers, just do what they want and then hold you accountable when it doesn't work. Overstates cost of carpet to customers and then has CSR deal with the outcome, the cost can be inflated by 2-3 HUNDRED percent.

    Advice to Management

    Don't just listen to yourselves, listen to the employees as well. Don't play favorites or only listen to the newest hire.

    Pros

    Lots of quality leads if you are in the top 10% or related to management. Income potential well above average for the industry.

    Cons

    They don't care if you are making a living or not. They use the inverse funnel to determine leads.
    No reimbursement for wear and tear on vehicle and no gas allowance. Thirty to forty thousand miles per year travel.

    Advice to Management

    Value longevity and product expertise. Carry a better product line.
