Pros

Good benefits; nice retirement program; fair salary. It used to be very encouraging working environments before up level management change.

Cons

Since CEO retired a couple of years ago, the company has experience a lot changes (mostly bad changes). Uncertainty of future; Bad CIO.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Current CEO has to resign or to be fired. And the bad people he brought with his in management positions also need to be gone.

I worked at EnPro full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is decent; better than market if you're an executive. Business units are niche with significant barriers to entry. They have owned their market share for decades. Not complicated. Free cash flow is easy to achieve.

    Cons

Highly charged political environment. Revolving door. Run for board member and executive wealth creation not for shareholders. Present and former executives received questionable incentives. Trickle down approach to compensation cause good talent to leave at mid-levels. Markets are cyclical. Being publicly traded this results in the typical draconian steps to achieve Q results on the backs of the people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Shore up the ethics and governance of the business. Establish a culture of innovation and performance rather than executive cronyism and self serving.
