Non-profit with for-profit mentality - very rewarding experience

Program Analyst (Former Employee)
Columbia, MD

I worked at Enterprise Community Partners

ProsWorking for a non-profit with a set focus and vision is a very rewarding experience. Senior management was very competent and dedicated to the cause. People often believe that people working at non-profits are laid back but this management was trying to prove otherwise. Every course of action was taken in a professional manner with the aim of achieving their overall strategy and this was visible througout the organization at all levels.

Management was driven, but still very understanding of personal issues. Work timing was great, no long hours required. Tasks were explained carefully along with deadlines. Overall, a great place to work

ConsAs it is a non-profit, opportunities for advancement were limited. There was a lot to learn but its hard to get to a position where you can implement changes.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you are doing - it works out great.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
