    I worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car

    Pros

They teach you basic principles on how to run a business and provide great sales training.

    Cons

You will work 55+ hours a week and start out making $32000. It's very cut throat and has high turnover. Management promotes based on favorites and dislikes sharing any opinions other than the ones they share.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to ensure the "work life balance" you preach about. Stand behind your employees and worry less about every dollar youre making and more about the people helping you make those dollars!

    I worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car

    Pros

    Nice paid internship
    Extremely nice coworkers
All based off personal performance, so if you do well it is a pro
You meet some crazy, fun customers
You are able to manage a branch and really take authority because they have trust in their employees
You will be offered jobs from corporate customers because Enterprise Rent-A-Car is such a well known company when it comes to training
Lots of happy hours and fun events that are all paid for
Tries to keep you in a general region but you can work anywhere in the U.S. for them
They really push you, so you have to put in 110% to succeed

    Cons

You will work at least 50-56 hours a week
11 hour days which gives you no social life
If you aren't good at selling insurance and upgrades, this is not the job for you
Customers don't trust you and it is hard to take a lot of rejection
You move around a lot so you do not get too comfortable with a location
Hard to move up in the company but everyone starts as a Management Trainee

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more incentives to have Interns come back for a full time position.
