Pros

Enterprise teaches you ever aspect of how to run a business. They set you up with the right tools to run your store as if it was your personal business.

Cons

Long Hours and had to work two sturdays a month, and promotion is not gaureented. They also will transfer you to other offices that you might be against goin to.

Advice to Management

To actually make the promotions to the people that need it and earn them, and not just telling them its gonna happen. that false hope is never a good thing

I have been working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-If you are hardworking and motivated you will move up within the company -Great training program and exposure to sales, customer service, marketing, and how to run a business -I was lucky to have great managers along the way -some people say it looks great on a resume -liked the people I worked with and the company does have a strong set of values -decent job if you have zero experience

    Cons

-dealing with terrible customers on a daily basis -being underpaid and overworked -washing at least 1 or 2 cars in your suite on a daily basis -constantly understaffed due to high turnover and managements focus on cutting costs -zero work/life balance -job mentally and physically drains you every day -due to the way your bonuses are structured, you could get promoted and actually make less money for the first few months at your new position, sometimes taking around 6 months to start seeing the raise. -no matter how successful you are at the end of the day, you work for a rental car company

    Advice to Management

Need better work/life balance = more employees, better pay, less hours.

I have been working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are not positive words to describe working for Enterprise

    Cons

Enterprise is built off of a turnover process. They find young college graduates to who are willing to do about 50 hours per week and pay them very little. In the interview process they mention that you will learn all the in and outs of business and will know how to run your own business. The truth is that you will find yourself washing cars for at least 4 hours a day with horrible working conditions. Jack Taylor the founder of Enterprise was once qouted by saying " Take care of your customers and employees...and profits will follow". After being with the company for 1 year I have found that qoute to be false in everyway. A customer came in demanding a car without a reservation on a busy friday and threatened to attack me and called me every 4 letter word in the book, he was then given a car by my manager while he was apoligizing for the situation. "Take care of your employees" I think not... You will spend most of your day selling protections to people that they honestly dont need while managment is over your shoulder making sure you say sales pitches word for word to the customers. I promise you that you will feel over worked and under paid. I was hired on at $10.50 per hour as a college graduate.Do not settle for enterprise!!!!! Run now!!!!
