I have been working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Gives you sales and customer service experience, especially in a tough economy. They will hire anyone that is friendly and outgoing. Most of the MT's are young and fun. Lots of chances to make friends and meet people.

    Cons

Long hours, high push to sell coverages, not the best starting salary, manipulative upper management. Many of the customers were rude and condescending. Requires a college degree, but was frequently asked the question "What are you going to do after this?". Repetitive and dull conversations with customers on long drives to and from their houses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide more opportunities to employees that are good at their jobs, but do not want to remain the sales track.

I worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

As an intern you dive head first into the Enterprise life style. Honestly, you aren't treated that different from any other full time sales employee. You are given the same responsibilities and held to the same standard. It can be a little shocking at first but it really is a great learning experience.

    Cons

Sales meant more than customer service. You were expected to sale above all else, often other employees would lie to do so. If you're great in a cut throat setting you'll be happy, not so much your thing? Avoid .
