Pros

Really don't have any "Pros," although some of my co-workers were pleasant to spend the workday with. My pay was always delivered as advertised.

Cons

At EBG the Sr. Management team makes life difficult, painful, and unpleasant for the good people around them. They are careful to do their best to blend into good society. This insulates and protects them from the angered reaction of good people; who would hammer them if they made their intentions public.

The Sr. Management team is so good at blending in with good people that their statements, goals and culture have become 'normal' and 'accepted'.

Potential employees should be forewarned.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop the madness............your "culture" is as cultured as yogurt...

    Pros

The content the company generates is very interesting and informational. The products it sells are great - tours, attractions, live shows. You get a lot of free show tickets and occasional merchandise, and you have access to extremely discounted prices.

    Cons

Management is horrible. Employees are treated like badly behaved children - micromanaged, talked down to, accused of lying, and out right insulted. Senior level managers have too much on their plate and oversee too many employees (even employees that aren't in their department), so they don't pay attention and completely ignore employees in some cases. When this gets them n trouble, they place blame on their staff and ignore proof (emails, notes, call logs).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep managers in their own departments, place more value on your entry and mid level employees, and keep the HR team fair and less biased toward the leadership team.

    Pros

The only pro is the comp tickets and even those come from their partners.

    Cons

Low salary, benefits packages suck, management is at his absolute worse. I have no clue where this company is trying to go but they need to start treating their employees with decency.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire managers who are not whimps and actually know what they're doing. If youvare going to pay people so low, tge least yoy can do is offer them a great benefits package.
