Former Employee - Paymaster in Burbank, CA

I worked at Entertainment Partners full-time for more than a year

Pros

Employee owned means everyone is very enthusiastic to overachieve, drive the sucess of the business

Cons

Worst management - entire skill set is "do it or you need to quit", "do i need to fire you?", "you don't seem to want your job". No concept of coaching, managing by example, leadership is ever used.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mark needs to look at the environment and how his future leaders are being trained - one can only hope this isn't his only skill set as well.

I worked at Entertainment Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great pay, benefits, company culture. Encourages volunteerism. Great people, for the most part.

    Cons

My department was in a state of flux from the day I started, with constant changes and reorganizing. ( I was moved to 8 different desks in 2+years). No continuity to my training, and was intimidated by my manager, and allowed to be harassed by a co-worker.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage employees to bring concerns to HR and have them addressed. I made the mistake of not doing so.

Current Employee - Leadman, Set Dresser in Los Angeles, CA

I have been working at Entertainment Partners full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Very creative departments and many different options available on which to focus your career.

    Cons

Most of the Film and TV work has left Ca. never to return again. Ca. is in so much unsustainable debt with its many social programs that have no sustainable base and the Producers know this, so they take the incentive packages from other states, leaving us to whats left...or requiring us to move.
