Pros

Great work environment, time off, family/outside life, benefits, pay,

Cons

Company downsizing, CEO took the money and ran, no structure and things changed daily within minutes, no sense of direction

Advice to Management

Should of advertised this book years back and kept advertising it. You can't stay in business without advertising

    Pros

In the beginning the schools loved the products and I loved working with the schools and I really believed in the product and the concept. Working from home allowed a great work/life balance and the compensation was adequate.

    Cons

I was there for 10 years and was in the first round of layoffs in 2011. More layoffs followed and it was evident that the company was failing due to incompetent and uncaring management and the poor decisions made by the parent company.

    Advice to Management

No more need for advice because in March of 2013 they filed Chapter #7 bankruptcy and closed. The Detroit TV news report stated that all 667 employees were let go with one day's pay and no severance.

  2. Good company, money issues at end?

    Pros

Chance to help local schools and organizations raise money in an era of budgetary cuts across the spectrum. Fifty year-old company. Lots of great people in the company.

    Cons

Fundraising no longer the focus of this company, at least that is what if feels like. Most fundraising reps have now been let go with second round of layoffs in last 2 years.

    Advice to Management

Get back to your roots. I heard they changed CEO's.
