I have been working at Epicor Software full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There is air conditioning and heat.

    Cons

The management is horrible which really hurts the culture of the company. You will see more work added to your plate just so your manager can show what a great team he/she has. Morale is low and the motivation is kept low with being overworked. Middle mangement is a joke. They can't even do their job so explaining how to do your job is out of the question.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

HIRE NEW MIDDLE MANAGMENT! This branch is full of incompetent managers that sit back and just let their employees figure everything out. There needs to be a centralized view of the future and not just this short sighted "quarter projections need to be strong" approach. Also, employees are not just a resource that you need to acquire at the cheapest rate possible. Employees run the business not YOU! Epicor’s future is not a bright one until the management can actually learn how to understand its employees. As Austin will be the new HQ of Epicor it is important to look around and see the employees. Everyone looks beaten down and unhappy. There is no hope for the future. If this is how management wants the HQ to be then that is a sad sad thing. I hope that real changes occur for the sake of future employees.

    Pros

Friendly colleagues, mid management in general is also helpful and willing to make the work experience positive

    Cons

Conflicting messages from management about quality vs quantity of work production within sales department; some mid management do not conduct themselves in a professional manner both inside and outside the office at company functions; slow turn around time for promotion; lower than industry average pay/compensation

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Conduct thorough reviews of mid management from upper executives in order to increase productivity throughout department
