Epicor Software – “It's OK until you can find somewhere that will pay you what your worth and respect you.

Epicor Software Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:   (Past Employee - 2008)

Pros

The Seattle office is great place to work. The people are great and the management actually cares (but only on this office).
The overseeing parent offices (Irvine and Newburgh) could care less about the people in Seattle.

Cons

Salary! Epicor does not pay their employees anywhere near market rate or what they are worth.
Senior management seems to have no clue on how to run a business.
They will come in one day and layoff 10%-20% of the staff and have absolutely zero communication about the future or what's going on with the company.
They will not communicate with the employees about anything, you are left to aimlessly work through months of unknown. You'll never know if you will be layed off or your project will be canceled, or your office will be closed.

Advice to Senior Management

Communicate and respect your employees. Get your heads out of your asses.
