Pros

Exciting place to work, huge growth potential, great technology that will benefit the world.

Cons

Long hours, stressful management, risk of being in a startup.

Keep the yelling to a minimum.

    Pros

    The technology is interesting and there are some nice people there.

    Cons

    Too much yelling. The company only has one speed, overdrive and the only way they know to motivate is to push harder. The entire staff is demoralized and demotivated. I know people were hopeful that things (i.e. management) would change with the new owners, but now that that hasn't happened everyone I know is sending out resumes.

    Learn to smile and be kind.

    Pros

    You get to work with some very intelligent people who are experts in their field. The work is very interdisciplinary.

    Cons

    The screaming and yelling at employees is demoralizing. People hate showing up to work and senior management isn't appreciative; they are very abrasive and rude. HR does nothing to stop this.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop yelling, start listening. Your employees will (and do) leave because of your behaviour. Berating one another doesn't help anyone accomplish project goals.
