I have been working at Equinix full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Amazing earnings potential
    - Great benefits/stock plan
    - Good people across all organizations
    - Service delivery is rock solid
    - Great value proposition, tremendous growth
    - Spectacular employee events
    - Very respectful work/life balance

A pretty amazing company history and current trajectory. Upper management really has a handle on the business and does an amazing job.

    Cons

    - Finicky culture favors tenured veterans; historical disparity in treatment between 'rock stars' and the rest
    - Some growing pains, lots of reorganization in sales
    - Despite tremendous overall growth, brand not recognized in some verticals
    - International regions still not fully integrated
    - Occasional feelings that you are starting over from scratch
    - Sometimes whispering, some backstabbing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize that newer sales people need better tools, ramps, and training to have them succeed. Newer people can feel they are on the 'outside' of the culture, and despite smiles from everyone, there can be a feeling of alienation. While some reorganization is necessary, constant changes in manager, account base, or job role is disruptive to both employees and clients.
