Current Employee – been working at Equinox Fitness full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Equinox members are all high earners and can afford personal training. The in house education, compensation, and bonuses are second to none. This is one of few fitness companies that provides affordable health insurance, 401k and other benefits most trainers don't get.
Cons – If you're the best in the industry, you will earn more money than anywhere else, however, more than half of the trainers earn less than 50k per year.
Advice to Senior Management – With recent expansion, management needs to focus on hiring and developing quality rather than quantity of trainers. We have an incredible reputation in the industry and want to keep it that way.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
