Compared to other PM companies, Equity is one of the best companies to work for

ProsI agree with the fair/balanced reviews already written here (you can tell the people with an ax to rind so to speak). Your coworkers really determine your enjoyment and success. All this being said, many of the issues mentioned in these reviews are found in any major corporation regardless of industry. Compared to other Property Management companies I'm familiar with, Equity is by far the best and the only PM company I will work for.

ConsI've worked for the company for over 7 years and there has always been this unspoken "inner circle" you seem to need entrance into in order to be promoted. The company constantly changes its focus, policies and procedures; and there is a continued disconnect between between corporate employees and field employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop micromanaging. All the reports, graphs, spreadsheets, scores and ratings are MADDENING. Your sales staff is focused more on meeting whatever new metric has been rolled out than listening to what the customer wants/needs.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
