I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

If you're part of upper management then you should have no problems. All the problems are created by the rank and file.

    Cons

Engineers and field technicians treated as a necessary evil. One well seasoned technician was demoted when he went out on a medical disability and 6 months later was laid off. There is no taking ownership of your work unless you count closing out tickets. If you enjoy working in RF and have a habit of going the extra mile, work for a carrier , a manufactorer's rep, or company specializing in RF solutions. You'll only learn frustration here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is a serious rift between the US rank and file and the European leaders of this company. Upper Management is oblivious to it. Middle Management doesn't want to make waves and lower management get stuck with overseeing large swaths of territory covering multiple technologies and are burdened with typically 25 to 50 reports. No body here has time to play handball.
